The town of Rainbow Valley is a bit cut off due to the storm washing the road away and they rely on George Hale (George 'Gabby' Hayes) and his automobile "Nugget Nell" to bring in supplies. But not everyone wants a road rebuilding especially Rogers (LeRoy Mason) who with there being limited ways in can control the supplies and force the land owners to sell up to him cheap.
