After a series of boyfriends all who turned out not to be who they seemed Dale Squire (Lacey Chabert) relocates to L.A. although still finds romance a road full of pitfalls and so comes to the decision that being single might be easier. But when her friend Jill (Haylie Duff) announces she is getting married it leads to Dale reflecting on how difficult it is to find a meaningful relationship in LA.
