It Gets Prickly for Perrin
For the most "The Cactus Kid" is a typical old fashion western b-movie the sort which producer Bernard B. Ray was well known for making, or should that be churning out. But alongside star Jack Perrin's large hat it benefits from a few quirks to make it at least memorable even though the end product is only average. Those include a rather curious scene involving Cheyenne and Perkins deciding what to do with body before deciding to burn it. Plus there is an unusual ghostly ending which you certainly didn't see in most westerns.
