Danger, Headache Inducing
After Mr. Poppy (Marc Wootton) and the class manage to work their way through a series of temps they find themselves with Mr. Peterson (David Tennant) a new teacher with a pregnant wife. With Mr. Poppy having promised the class that they can enter a singing competition in Wales Mr. Peterson finds himself drawn in to the mayhem which is Mr. Poppy.
Oh dear, this could be one of the shortest reviews I have ever written as sadly "Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger!" is not good. Unfortunately this sequel becomes the Marc Wootton show with him going over the top in the daft stakes and it is like being smacked around the head until you can't take anymore. But there is more and we have the children over doing their daftness and that is combined with a lot more silliness with at one point a duck bus, children rolling down a hill and so much more.
In fairness there is a storyline to this and I don't just mean a song for Christmas as we also have Mr. Peterson who doesn't get on with his brother as well as his father. But trust me the story does not drive this movie, nope the comedy does and for me it is comedy which doesn't work.
What this all boils down to is that "Nativity 2: Danger in the Manger!" was a disappointment and ended up a lot of noise rather than a fun movie.
