Bermuda Tentacles (2014) Trevor Donovan, Linda Hamilton

Sunk & Stunk

When Air Force One suddenly hits some unexplained problems the plane, and President DeSteno (John Savage), end up going down over the Bermuda Triangle. With the USA scrambling its best men and women to try and rescue the President, Chief Trip Oliver (Trevor Donovan), a risk taker, finds himself and his team collaborating with Admiral Linda Hansen (Linda Hamilton) to launch a rescue mission to dive into the Bermuda Triangle using a submarine by the name of the Prometheus. But it appears that the crashing down of Air Force One into the Bermuda Triangle has awoken some sort of monster with giant tentacles which attack with deadly force.

Do not watch this movie, I repeat do not watch "Bermuda Tentacles" if you in anyway what so ever value your time. Now I don't usually say that at the start of a review but I feel a need to because whether you watch movies for the action, the effects, the comedy, for being good or enjoyable bad, you will find that "Bermuda Tentacles" comes up short in every way imaginable. It isn't that technically "Bermuda Tentacles" is worse than any other far fetched sci-fi action move made for TV, it is on par with the majority of these movies but nothing, I repeat nothing, in this movie manages to be entertaining, either in a good or a bad way.

One of the worst things about "Bermuda Tentacles" is that you have some famous names such as Linda Hamilton, John Savage, Jamie Kennedy and Trevor Donovan yet there are so many uninteresting and unimportant characters in this movie that these actors get crowded out. The up shot of this is that what you get in "Bermuda Tentacles" is lots of noise, lots of shouting, lots of gun firing, lots of dialogue said in a kind of urgent manner but nothing in the least bit entertaining.

What this all boils down to is that "Bermuda Tentacles" is one of those rare movies where I found nothing in it entertaining, be it for the right or for the wrong reasons.
